AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.
The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Transformations
The trailer highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

This release also brings the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
